PROFESSIONAL HOME ORGANIZING
Clear home. Clear mind.
Austin's professional home organizer, designing refined, functional spaces for clients who expect more from their home, and their time.
When your home is in order, everything else feels possible.
-
Ordered Living is a boutique organizing practice based in Austin, TX, built on the belief that an organized home is one of the most valuable investments you can make in your daily life. Karen Rico brings precision, discretion, and genuine care to every space she’s trusted with.
-
Every project begins with a complimentary Spatial Evaluation to understand your space, your lifestyle, and your vision. From there, a tailored system is designed around how you actually live, never a one-size-fits-all solution.
-
Clients who are ready for their home to feel as considered as the rest of their life. Whether you're settling into a new home, moving through a transition, or simply ready for your space to finally match your standards, Karen Rico is ready to help.
Services
Every project starts with a complimentary 30 minute consultation in your home to assess your space, take measurements, order materials, and give you a cost estimate, so there are zero surprises before we get started.
-
From a single closet to a full home, every system is designed around your space and your life. Every session is hands-on, every system is built to last, and everything is labeled so the whole household can maintain it with ease.

Please Note: Every figure above reflects a standard scope for that category. Homes with significant volume, custom shelving builds, or unusual scope are quoted individually - this is confirmed at your Spatial Evaluation, before any retainer is collected, so your final number is never a surprise.
Materials: Containment products (bins, baskets, hangers, labels) are selected to your aesthetic and billed separately from the rates above.
Securing your dates: A $500 retainer is collected at your Spatial Evaluation to reserve your project dates and is applied to your final balance.

Please Note: Ordered Living accepts a limited number of projects each month to give every client full attention.
About
Meet Karen Rico, founder of Ordered Living. After years in corporate tech sales, Karen made a deliberate choice: purpose over performance. That choice became this practice.
"Organization isn't something I learned, it's how I think. I notice the details most people miss, and I don't stop until every space has a place and a purpose."
Karen also lives with ADHD, which means she understands, firsthand, what it feels like when your environment isn't giving your mind the calm it needs. The clutter you see is almost always the clutter you feel. That understanding is what makes her work personal, not just professional.
Ordered Living is for anyone who is:
Tired of feeling overwhelmed by their home, even when life looks good on paper
Ready for their space to feel as put-together as everything else they've built
Craving calm, and ready to invest in getting there
Whether you're moving, transitioning, or finally ready to tackle the space you've been avoiding, Karen is the right person for the job.
Ready to feel the difference?
Reserve your complimentary Spatial Evaluation for a conversation about your space and what's possible.
